So it was finally nice enough to venture out into the wild. Or so I thought. It was sunny and 60 degrees Saturday afternoon, by the time I returned it was 50 degrees an overcast. despite the cold it was nice ride. There's very little traffic this time of year even on a Saturday. I decided to play on the super twisty highway 26 between Eagle River and Copper Harbor. I took the direct route (straight up 41) rather than 203 and/or five mile point rd. (both of which I'll cover later) because it was cool out and I it was getting late. I decided to venture up Brockway Mountain on the way and head down 26 from Copper Harbor.
This is a waterfall in Eagle River

One of the bays on the way to Eagle Harbor

Brockway Mountain: on the way down

Here's Copper Harbor from Brockway Mountain

and another

This is a little roadside park just south of Copper Harbor

It's pretty neat and deserted at this time of year

I caught a picture of a group of dear crossing the road near Eagle River

This is why this road is so great, the ups and downs and side to sides...

I can't wait to ride so that I can post more!
