Houghton/Hancock at Night

I've been itching to do a little nighttime photography so I hit the streets last night to see what I could find. This is what I came up with...

Ride to South Range (Wheelkate)

I just had to play with my new 08 trail sticker. I went down trail 3 to South Range and rode over to Wheelkate. The trails were pretty dry, but sandy. While I was out if discovered my radiator fan is broken. I guess that means I'll have to wait a couple weeks until my new fan blades get in to go off-roading again:( oh well.

Ride to Betsy: The Search for the Lost Road

Last summer I found an old logging road while playing on the Lac La Belle road. I followed the muddy trail for about a mile until I ran across a water crossing that was just too big. So I chickened out, turned around. Today I returned to this hidden road, and it was well worth the wait.

I've been wanting to do this for some time. Here are my first attempts at creating a video that would capture my favorite part of riding up here, the crazy winding roads. Both videos are sped up and aren't the best quality (since I'm using the video setting of my digital camera). Both of them have semi-vulgar music too. Anyways enjoy!
